Lúcia Prancha
São Paulo/LisboaLúcia Prancha was born in Portugal, in 1985. The first six months of 2009, she studied and worked in São Paulo, Brazil.
She won a scholarship of the Program Bolsas Luso-Brasileiras Santander Universidades, for studying at the Escola de Comunicação e Artes (ECA) at São Paulo University (USP).
In the last two years, her work has begun to intensify the dialogue between drawing, installation and performance. Some of her most recent works exemplify this dialogue, as she began to create devices for performance or scenarios that remind us of a happening or investigation project on a specific community, as happened in her last show “a água parda arrastava pedaços de gelo” in Sintra, Portugal.
